The simple answer would be to love and serve God but many people have also suggested that the meaning of life is in relationships.

I would go for a synthesis of these two… Love and serve God through having meaningful and loving relationships with others.

That sounds pretty simplistic and there’s not too many guardrails on there, a lot of room for error, but I think it’s far more functional than Douglas Adams’s answer in Life the Universe and Everything which was “42.” Of course, this answer was immediately followed by the realization that we don’t even know what the question of life is.
