If reading is a singular love of mine, than writing in another. Studying how to write has been a sideline for a long time, and because I was a home maker for many years, and after that a working mom, I didn’t have time to go to study writing or even, in the early days, visit the library much.
I found the bulk of what I know about writing online. I wrote these posts to try to share what I’d figured out with others.
Admittedly, I don’t know as much as I would like. That said, my blog 98 Literary Magazines that Don’t Charge Submission Fees has been a solid performer for years.
I’m not kidding, it was supposed to be “101 Literary Magazines that Don’t Charge Submission Fees” but in the process of writing it, four of them started charging!
Naturally, if you visit that post and find that even more of them are charging to submit now, let me know so I can take them off the list.
