A long time ago I developed this American Homestyle Cooking philosophy. First, I would cook for friends and family so they would enjoy food… and then,, I worked to simplify. Nothing made me crazier than one of those bourgeois cookbooks full of extra steps.  My motto, like the food, would be simple: “Be the best and be generous.”
